This equipment setup is designed to provide accurate, consistent feeding of product into a pressure pneumatic system. The live bottom bin can be retrofitted onto existing hoppers/silos to convert the bin into a first in, first out flow pattern. Because the live bottom is designed to fill the volumetric feeder to near 100% capacity, accuracy is achieved by constant speed of all equipment. The airlock keeps product moving into the pneumatic line, while the pulse jet filtered vent, keeps the feeder non-pressurized.
